The Shear Box Testing Machine is to determine the shear board, vertical consolidation and horizontal shear movement of the soil specimen that is enclosed within a robust metal box horizontally split into two halves and provided with a vertical plunger.

The shear box apparatus premises the testing of specimens of 60mm, 70mm, 100mm, Ø2.5” both square and circular. The speed rate is control by electronic stepper motor that can keep consistent under load stress. A rapid adjustment is also provided and safety limit switch are prevent over strain and overloading of the apparatus. The shear box apparatus is supplied without shear box assembly, load ring, vertical / horizontal of dial gauge and weight set.
