Tensile Machine

Tensile Machine

( Steel Bar Testing Equipments )

Steels used in construction are integral part in building structure other than concrete. Unit Test series of PC controlled fully automatic tensile testing machines provide reliable tensile test of common steel used in construction such as steel bar, pc strand & others. Its rugged high stiffness frame is made using extremely solid steel which is virtually indestructible or unbendable, thus provides very consistent test results over many years of usage. Silent operation & low temperature makes it suitable to be placed even indoor with office environment with extremely minimal disruption.

Upon sample failure, the pressure will be hold automatically to allow removal of broken samples at ease. Movement of jaws by hydraulic system from main pump, to ensure proper grip during test. Precise test speed control by servo feedback control unit with high precision & energy efficient long lasting DC motor.

The frame is designed to carry out tensile test using wedge grips placed in hydraulic or manual clamping heads, due to international standards by using accessories devices. The hydraulic servo controlled unit regulates the load rate by computer. As per international safety standards required, an emergency device is built in to stop the machine in any moment. A control pedal situated on frame governs the movement of the top tensile head for an easier positioning of the specimens according to its length. The machine supplied complete with loading frame, control console, PC with software, extensometer, set of wedge grips and printer.

  • Model capital letter ‘H’ stands for hydraulic wedge grip system (e.g. H-500), while letter ‘M’ stands for manual wedge grip system (e.g. M-500).
  • Max cross head stroke approximately between 200mm – 600mm.
  • Max distance between jaws approximately 600mm for steel bar.
  • Distance between load reading cell resolution 0.01% UV.
  • Accuracy : Class 1, EN 10002/2. Reading scale : 1:1 – 1:20 UV.
  • Stroke reading : linear transducer, resolution 0.01mm.
  • Deformation reading : electronic extensometer, resolution 0.001mm.
  • Accuracy : Class B2 (B1 for base up to 80mm) ASTM E83.
  • Approximate height between 3.2m - 3.5m excluding piston stroke 200mm – 600mm.
  • Approximate machine frame weight between 2,500kg – 4,200kg depend on capacity range.
  • Follow standard EN 10002 – ASTM A370.
  • On site calibration follows ISO 75000 or BS EN 12390 Annex B.
